Arctic Business Retreat
About this Private retreat
Did you know that Arctic Nature and a mountain troll can help you with your business?!
(I know, it might sound a little crazy, but read on….)
No tourists’ buses where we’re going! Instead Mirjam will show you the far North of the Arctic Coast Way! This is your chance to see unspoilt, authentic, insider Iceland.
The retreat will be a mixture of Arctic Energy Healing, connecting to nature and learning about Norse Mythology (all about expressing from the heart!). Then we’ll bring this together in a day of masterminding.
But above all, it’s about getting in touch with YOURSELF!
What will you be doing?
Depending on your individual wishes, the group’s wishes, and what Nature gifts us, you can expect to experience:
Whales and freshly caught fish, sheep hugging, watching puffins fly, divine cocktails, watching the sun set into the Arctic Ocean, nuzzling up to horses (learning from them too!), experiencing the unique energy of this region, masterminding, listening to the lessons that silence gives us, sitting and sometimes doing absolutely nothing.
Mirjam shows you places that take your breath away and tells her personal stories about Iceland that make you feel like you’re a bit Icelandic yourself.

Let’s get practical. What does it include?
The Arctic Business Retreat starts on June 19th and lasts for 7 days.
- 7-day business retreat at Ytra Lón guest house
- Group activities
- Accommodation in comfortable, well-equipped apartments
- 7 days of breakfast, dinner, and lunches
- Transport to and from group activities and collection from nearby airport
You’ll love the cheerful decoration in the apartments, lovingly designed by Mirjam, your host. And you definitely won’t be able to resist her freshly-baked rhubarb cake or plump trout or home-grown lamb. Get to know Icelandic cuisine with the extensive breakfast buffet, delicious home-cooked lunches and dinners.
You’ll feel like you get to know the animals on the farm too during your stay. The friendly dogs will greet you and groups of sheep will watch you whenever you leave or return.
Who is it for?
The Arctic Business Retreat is for you if…
- You are an entrepreneur who is brave! You are aligned (or aspire to be) with your sensitivity, vulnerability, smart mind, your power, your feminine strength and you are SO ready for a genuine lasting energy boost. This is a great place for introverts!
- You desire to have conversations that go much deeper than: “I’m doing well. My business is doing well.” You want to share your truth because you know that this is what will help you to open your mind and get real aha moments.
The energy of Iceland is extraordinary high, which will help you heal what needs to be healed, let go of what you don’t need anymore, and truly embrace what makes you powerful.
The Arctic Energy sessions and the Healing Soul Whispers will guide you even faster towards ‘where you want to go’.

You arrive at Keflavík airport in Iceland and that’s where your retreat starts.
We drive with a small bus to Ytra Lón in the North of Iceland and stay one night in a guesthouse on the way.
On our way to Ytra Lón we will visit the Godafoss waterfall (water of the gods) have a picnic and enjoy the landscape (that will change constantly).
We shake off travel tiredness in a gorgeous geothermal pool.
We travel towards the light! It’s just past midsummer during our retreat. Once we’re in Ytra Lón the sun won’t go down anymore
Relax and energize at the most Nordic-Retreat of Iceland.
There will be outings (driving over the peninsula, seeing the birds) this is the time for you to connect.
Draw, read, have really deep and meaningful conversations, mastermind, cuddle the horses, talk to the sheep, go for long (or a short walk) eat, set up your business master plans, drink tea while watching the horses, and get completely healed!
Don’t forget to bring your bathing suit for a swim in the river. There is a hot pool at the guesthouse as well.
Energy healer, transformational coach, intuitive and farm guest house owner.
Hi, I’m Mirjam Blekkenhorst, an energy healer, transformational coach, intuitive and farm guest house owner.
At the age of twenty-two, I paused my studies at the Art Academy in the Netherlands and travelled to Iceland. Right from the start, I loved the silence, the space, and the unpredictability.
When I was a child, there was nothing I liked better than having my hands in the dirt and being with animals. But as our family moved away from a village into a town, I lost part of myself and couldn’t connect to it again. I felt lost in the noise, the bustle, and the constant demands for my attention.
When I got to North Iceland and its serene stillness, I finally felt that connection to myself again. I had rediscovered my true essence.
I was home.
I know just how busy life can get and I understand how to help you connect to the calm Icelandic energies, whatever’s going on around or inside you. As a healer, I work in realms I can’t fully explain in words, but you can definitely feel.

What our guests say
‘’Langanes is a very special region of Iceland. It is not on the map of the average tourist looking to check Iceland off her bucket list. People who come to this far-flung outpost have specific interests and goals - birds, quietude, a sense of isolation, wide open spaces, interest in local history.
Ytra Lón comes as a surprise. It is a working farm. The rooms are large, fitted with a mini kitchen and fridge, and tastefully furnished. To find this level of comfort in such a remote location is a blessing.
Perfect oasis of peace
‘’I really enjoyed my time in this charming place when staying in a spacious studio apartment. I appreciated a peaceful environment, liked my evening stroll along the river and a nice talk with my hosts. I even had a chance to explore their farm, meet horses and watch the sheepdog training.
I recommend joining one of the Langanes tours organized from Ytra Lón. It was amazing to listen to the stories of local farmers, discover more about Icelanders in general and on top of that admire a huge colony of gannets nesting on cliffs in Skoruvíkurbjarg. ‘’
Amazing place to stay!
‘'Wonderful place, lonely and hauntingly beautiful. Delightful studio, comfy bed, amazing set up, welcoming host and delicious food with many homemade delicacies. A place to remember and to recommend without reservation.''
