Arctic Empath Retreat

About this Private retreat

Go from overworked to confident, calm, and connected in 7 days at the Arctic Empath Retreat 2023:  You’ll return home with deep insights, that will nourish you for months to come.

Did you know that Arctic Nature and a mountain troll can help you create more calmness in your life?!

(I know, it might sound a little crazy, but read on….)

Imagine this
Drive over the Arctic Coast Way and let Icelandic nature do the heavy mindset lifting for you.
Take in the sights and sounds of ancient volcanic hills, wild Icelandic horses, and waterfalls.
And breathe clean, crisp air.
Submerge yourself in Icelandic nature, fully recharge your energy with Arctic Energy healing and discover what you’ve forgotten about yourself.
All in the calmest place in the world.
No tourist buses where we’re going! Instead, Mirjam will show you the far North of the Arctic Coast Way! This is your chance to see unspoiled, authentic, insider Iceland.
The retreat will be a mixture of Arctic Energy Healing, connecting to nature, and learning about Norse Mythology (all about expressing from the heart!). Then we’ll bring this together in a day of journalling and art.
But above all, it’s about getting in touch with YOURSELF!

What will you be doing?
Depending on your individual wishes, the group’s wishes, and what Nature gifts us, you can expect to experience:
Whales and freshly caught fish, sheep hugging, watching puffins fly, divine cocktails, watching the sun set into the Arctic Ocean, nuzzling up to horses (learning from them too!), experiencing the unique energy of this region, journalling, art, listening to the lessons that silence gives us, sitting and sometimes doing absolutely nothing.

“Mirjam shows you places that take your breath away and tells her personal stories about Iceland that make you feel like you’re a bit Icelandic yourself.”
Esther de Charon de Saint Germain

Let’s get practical. What does it include?
The Arctic Empath Retreat starts on August 7th and lasts for 7 days.
• 7-day retreat at Ytra Lón guest house
• Group activities
• Accommodation in comfortable, well-equipped rooms
• 7 days of breakfast, dinner, and lunches
• Transport to and from group activities and collection from nearby airports

You’ll love the cheerful decoration in the rooms, lovingly designed by Mirjam, your host. And you definitely won’t be able to resist her freshly-baked rhubarb cake or plump trout or home-grown lamb. Get to know Icelandic cuisine with the extensive breakfast buffet, delicious home-cooked lunches, and dinners.
You’ll feel like you get to know the animals on the farm too during your stay. The friendly dogs will greet you and groups of sheep will watch you whenever you leave or return.

Who is it for?

The Arctic Empath Retreat is for you if…

  • You are a brave female empath! You are aligned (or aspire to be) with your sensitivity, vulnerability, smart mind, your power, your feminine strength, and you are SO ready for a genuine lasting energy boost. (This is a great place for introverts by the way).
  • You want to have conversations that go beyond: “I’m busy. Doing well. Thinking about going on holiday.” You want to share what’s really happening in your life. You know that this is the quickest way to get Aha moments and create real change.
  • You’re ready to reconnect with yourself and to grow, experience and explore with other like-minded women – and to be the truest version of yourself.

What our guests say

Outstanding

‘’Langanes is a very special region of Iceland. It is not on the map of the average tourist looking to check Iceland off her bucket list. People who come to this far-flung outpost have specific interests and goals - birds, quietude, a sense of isolation, wide open spaces, interest in local history.

Ytra Lón comes as a surprise. It is a working farm. The rooms are large, fitted with a mini kitchen and fridge, and tastefully furnished. To find this level of comfort in such a remote location is a blessing.

Highly recommended.’’

Perfect oasis of peace

‘’I really enjoyed my time in this charming place when staying in a spacious studio apartment. I appreciated a peaceful environment, liked my evening stroll along the river and a nice talk with my hosts. I even had a chance to explore their farm, meet horses and watch the sheepdog training.

I recommend joining one of the Langanes tours organized from Ytra Lón. It was amazing to listen to the stories of local farmers, discover more about Icelanders in general and on top of that admire a huge colony of gannets nesting on cliffs in Skoruvíkurbjarg. ‘’

Amazing place to stay!

‘'Wonderful place, lonely and hauntingly beautiful. Delightful studio, comfy bed, amazing set up, welcoming host and delicious food with many homemade delicacies. A place to remember and to recommend without reservation.''
