for all Residential Retreats & Events
Insurance:
We strongly advise all our retreat leaders and guests to arrange Personal Accident and Travel/Cancellation Insurance when booking our retreat venue.
Booking Information:
The retreat cost includes accommodation, the use of our meeting/yoga space, free WIFI and all meals and refreshments during your stay.
Travel to and from the retreat venue is not included in the price.
Payment Policy Retreat organizers:
• To secure your booking a nonrefundable deposit of 10% of your entire booking cost is required when booking the venue. Your retreat is reserved once we receive the deposit.
- The second payment is an additional 30% of the total booking cost and has to be transferred 3 months prior to the date of your retreat.
• The last payment (the remainder of the total amount) has to be transferred 4 weeks before the start of the retreat. - We are not responsible for any bank fees.
- We do understand that the total price can make minor changes after reservation due to some changes in the retreat scedule, like lunching or dining out.

Payment Policy for guests of retreats organized by Ytra Lón Farm & Retreat:
- Choose your room type, to secure your booking a non-refundable deposit of €500 is required
- 50% of your balance is due as date stated in each retreat
- Full balance is due as date stated for each retreat
Responsibilities:
The retreat organizer takes full responsibility for the bookings of their group. The prices listed in the accommodation section are the price per person per night. It is the responsibility of the organizer to meet the price per person, and to organize the allocation of beds to guests.
If the venue is booked less than four weeks in advance, the deposit facility will not be available, and the full amount will need to be paid when booking.
Failure to pay the balance on the set due date will mean that your place is NOT secured and will be offered to a waiting list.
Cancellation Policy:
If you decide to cancel your retreat after paying the deposit, this deposit cannot be transferred to another retreat or another person. If you have made full payment, no refund will be given. However, we can transfer your deposit to another period if the change is made at least 90 days in advance of your originally booked dates at Ytra Lón Farm & Retreat.
Unexpected circumstances that are out of Ytra Lón’s control:
Ytra Lón Farm & Retreat is not liable under the circumstances of natural disaster, war, pandemic, or other situation that is out of Ytra Lón’s control. Ytra Lón will do her best to sort out alternative arrangements, depending on the scale of the situation.
If due to any of the above the retreat cannot go ahead, we offer a 50% refund on the deposit or the opportunity to reschedule free of charge.
In case a final payment has already been made, we offer a refund for the final payment minus a 10% administration fee.
No refund will be made if guests are unable to attend due to testing positive for COVID-19. It is guests responsibility to make sure they keep safe in the lead up to coming, during travel and time here.
Travel:
Ytra Lón Farm & Retreat is not responsible for the loss or damage to any belongings while on a retreat or while guests are traveling to or from our retreat centre. We are not responsible for any problems guests encounter while they are traveling to and from our retreat venue.
It is guests responsibility to ensure they have the correct travel documentation and that they are legally able to enter the country where the retreat is taking place. All flights and flying arrangements are the responsibility of Retreat Leaders and their guests.
